Attic Water Heater Vent Installation Advice - Home Building and Construction

I've heard all kinds of stories over the years of the advantages in the production of steel lugged the wood. Once heard you could build a whole house with the amount of recycling of steel from a large car like a Cadillac. It seems hard to believe that unless you are building a small house.

My personal favorite of bolted steel structure is that they are straight. Load-bearing walls I built with 12 feet 3 1 / 2 inch wide steel nails and then the cast can establish a level of 8 feet to check the straightness on the wall with amazing results.

If you use 3 1 / 2 inch wide steel studs with 5 / 8 "drywall will get an extremely durable and resistant wall. Was framed steel studs is common in the office renovation or remodeling. Most part of the steel framing is done through contractors cast.

Steel poles and termites do not mix. You never have to worry of these little bugs or home without being invited other harmful pests walls.

Over the years I heard stories that steel framed buildings are earthquake and fire proof. They might be more resistant to fire than wood but keep in mind when the metal is hot enough will bend and distort what is unusable.

When I hear people talking about a fire-proof building constructed with steel framing components my first thought is all other materials used in the construction of the house that are not fire resistant. Do not let a false illusion to buy a house framed with steel posts and I think that is 100% fire test.

As for steel framed buildings earthquake proof that this is another story. I can not really say much about the earthquake damage to a building steel. The problem with earthquakes is that they seem to create fire. So even if you are building does survive an earthquake that could be damaged by fire in the area.

More homes have wood framed house of steel on the years and my studies of steel construction is limited to non load-bearing walls usually located in office buildings. I love the production of metals due to its lightness and ease of construction.

I still love wood processing. There is something about framing what I've always loved and always will.
