How would you wrap a treehouse?

Our oldest son told me he wants his own treehouse for Christmas. There's already one in one of our trees but he wants his own and he wants to build it himself (with dad's help, but no other kids helping). This is pretty much the only thing he has told me he wants for Christmas.

Perfect...we have plenty of trees and tools. But how are we supposed to "give" him this for Christmas? It's not going to be some pre-manufactured in-a-box kit...it'll be totally built from scratch. I guess the part we'll be giving him is the wood and paint.

How do I wrap something like that? Or maybe we should just buy some lumber and put it on the back porch with a big bow on it? I'm at a loss. Help me..

Suggested Category > Halloween

You could buy him his own tool belt complete with tools made to suit his size and wrap that, then put the paint and lumber on the back porch with a big bow on it.

Simplewaterfuel, Gas4free and Water4Gas HHO Kits: A Day Money-Saving Auto Project

Home improvement has become a great American pastime. Millions of Americans spend their weekends painting, gardening, remodeling, building porches and improving their homes. But homes aren't the only major investment that families should protect. Most people spend a large portion of their salary on car payments, car repairs, and certainly gasoline. But it doesn't have to be that way. There's a car improvement project that's just waiting to save you money and provide a fun, worth-while do-it-yourself project. That project is the HHO kit.

An HHO kit is conversion kit that can be added to any gasoline-powered car. HHO kits use water to assist your engine in running. Imagine having a car that is partially fueled by water! The HHO converter changes the water into its gas-state hydrogen. Then, the HHO converter kit siphons that hydrogen into the car's gas tank. The introduction of hydrogen into the gas tank allows your car to use significantly less gasoline than it does right now. This means that your car will get significantly better gas mileage and your monthly gasoline budget will be drastically reduced. Most car owners with HHO kits installed on their cars save 10 to 50% on gasoline. That's huge savings to funnel back into your home repairs, a vacation, or even your kids' college funds.

Despite all the amazing benefits of an HHO kit, they are surprising easy to install. They require no expensive equipment or mechanical expertise. All it takes to start saving on gas is purchasing the kit and spending a weekend afternoon or morning installing it. In fact, installing an HHO kit on your car is easier than many common home-improvement projects and much less time consuming than painting a room or planting a garden. Installing an HHO kit on a car can even be a great father-son bonding experience. It could also replace your usual home improvement chores as a fun and productive way to spend an afternoon. Most people who loved playing with LEGOs, metal cars, or wood-working kits as children will enjoy the challenge and reward of installing an HHO kit.

In addition to the fun of installing it, the benefits are long-lasting and varied. An HHO kit saves money by using less gas, but it also reduces a car's damaging effects to the environment. This means that you'll save money and the planet with a single weekend project.

HHO kits are also extremely easy to remove from your car. If the kit needs to be taken off to have the car repaired or to sell, it's easy to remove and then reattach afterwards. This means there are no lasting alterations to the car. Removing an HHO kit is much easier than repainting a wall that when the paint color only looked good in the store. And bright-colored walls never saved any money gas.

HHO kits are readily available for purchase online. For example, gas4free and Simplewaterfuel both sell high-quality, inexpensive HHO manuals that can easily help convert any gas or diesel-powered car. Plus, when you buy an HHO manual, it will tell everything you need to get started, finish your project, and start saving on gas. If you install an HHO kit, you'll instantly be the hero to your family and neighbors who will be impressed by your water-powered car.

Next time you need a great weekend project, consider visiting Gas4free, water4gas or Simplewaterfuel to look into installing an HHO kit for your car.

Description

Boys and girls love woodworking projects! But most kids (and most parents) lack woodworking skills. That's where Kids' Building Workshop steps in. Craig Robertson, a master carpenter and renowned designer and builder of furniture, and Barbara Robertson, an art educator who specializes in teaching children, have developed an inspired method for teaching kids and their parents the basics of woodworking. In this lively, fully photographed and illustrated book, the Robertsons present fun projects that teach essential woodworking skills. For example, the Spider-Web String Art project teaches kids how to wield a hammer, and the Drilled Name Plaque project teaches kids the safe and proper way to use a drill. Building on these basic skills, the book moves on to intermediate-level projects. Kids learn how to make a sawhorse, a tool box, a step stool--all things that every carpenter must have to build bigger and more elaborate projects. Finally, the kids are ready to take on seriously hip projects: a cricket cage, a book house, a dollhouse (and dollhouse furniture!), a lemonade stand, and a kids' play table. The Kids' Building Workshop is a great primer that passes the hammer to a new generation of woodworking kids (and their parents).
